Today Is "He Can Get It" Wednesday: Xavisus...

It’s the middle of the week, closing near the weekend. And, I’ve got this week’s featured model who’ll keep breathless until then.

Please meet sexy ripped caramel goodness, Xavisus Gayden. This thirty-year old was born in Houston, Texas and raised in Houston and Monroe, Louisiana. He admits that he attended high school in Mangham, Louisiana. After high school, Xavisus enrolled in the U.S. Marines and has been active ever since. He currently lives in southern California. He has two daughters Aaniyah and Aamiyah Gayden. Xavisus told me, “They are the reason I stay focused.”

Xavisus got into modeling after he was discovered by Mr. Dean, (not this author), in Twentynine Palms, California. “He was a prior bodybuilder/model/actor and told me I can go even further than him,” Xavisus said. “In April/May of 2009 he saw me in the gym working out and said I had an incredible physique and that I would someday be a big star. At the time my focus was on my daughters, but I agreed to work with him so I could stay sane.”

Xavisus is a U.S. Marine, a Natural Pro Bodybuilder, and has recently started focusing on acting. He is also into entertainment and producing local singers and rap artist.

Former Soap Actor Keith Hamilton Cobb Out of The Closet...

Keith Hamilton Cobb Out of The Closet

by L.E. Monist in People, April 11, 2010

Actor Cobb admits sexual orientation.

Relaxing backstage at the Red Bull Theater in New York City, actor Keith Hamilton Cobb is adamant; “I never denied I was Gay,” he says.

Possibly best known for the super macho Tyr Anasazi on the sci-fi series ‘Andromeda’, Cobb was blase. “I mean I’m nearly fifty, never was linked with a woman. The few ‘red carpet’ affairs I attended were set up by the studio; an obvious set up. This can’t be a surprised.”

Cobb first came to attention when he appeared in ‘All My Children,” a day time soap-opera.

“They paired me with a white actress, which upset the black community. It was hard, as the actress and I couldn’t stand each other, but had to play lovers. It drew on my acting talent. Rather an ego deflater for her when I had to force myself to kiss her. She begged them to kill off my character, and I was happy to leave.”

Cobb then went on to Andromeda.

“The character was created for me, and I was asked to write a backstory for him.” Keith smiled, explained how deep he got into the character of Tyr Anasazi, and how he completed the assignment, believing he had created a ‘masterpiece’.

“The writer looked at me, and said, ‘um, Keith…you better put a female in Tyr’s past.’ If they’d asked me to put a giraffe I wouldn’t have been more dislocated. I was sitting in front of the T.V., an old movie was on. Jack Palance’s character ruminates on a ‘red headed woman’. Alright, I think and just popped that in.”

Asked if he felt his admission would effect his career; “Do you know what it’s like to be stalked by middle aged white females, some with clip on dread locks?” he shuddered. “Hopefully now, they’ll leave me alone.”

Today Is, "He Can Get It" Wednesday - Bo...

We’re creeping into Fall and we have some wonderful visual stimuli to help you ease into the new season. This week’s featured model is Bo Pratt. He was born and raised in Kalamazoo, Michigan where he spent most of his time playing sports such as football and wrestling. He continued his athleticism through college where he joined Division II’s Grand Valley State University football team.

After being asked throughout his undergrad if he was in the modeling industry, Bo finally decided to give modeling a shot while he was completing his Master’s Degree in Computer Science. Jumping into the modeling business without any true knowledge of the industry proved to be challenging, but after much perseverance (and even more questions asked), he found many great influences who weren’t afraid to give good advice and direction. With industry professionals backing him, and completing school, he decided it was time to give modeling and acting his full attention.

My New Book, "Straight From Your Gay Best Friend," Coming Oct. 1st...

Hey Everyone!

I am so pleased and excited to share with you about my upcoming book, Straight From Your Gay Best Friend. The book is scheduled for release on October 1, 2010.

It is an advice book filled with lots of wit, sass, love, and humor. If you follow my advice column at Hello Beautiful, then you will definitely love my new book. Even if you don't follow my advice column this is a book you will enjoy.

I hope you all will continue to support and show your love as you have with my previous books. I cannot thank you enough for the love and wonderful emails, "Thank you" notes, phone calls, and sharing of my works you all have done. I couldn't have done any of this without you. So, please know that I humbly thank each of you from the bottom of my heart.

Here is a little something about the book:

In today's society, from the inner-city to suburban America, nearly every woman has a gay best friend - the one who gives it to them straight about life, clothes, sex, and relationships. For example, on the number-one cable show on the Bravo Network, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, the break-out star of the show, NeNe, has introduced the world to her gay best friend, Dwight Eubanks. Having a gay best friend is what every woman needs.

Straight From Your Gay Best Friend gives women direct, and poignant, though often tongue in cheek, advice from Terrance Dean, their new gay best friend, on some of life's most challenging issues--family, friends, career, love, sex, and intimate relationships with men. Dean offers direct and to-the-point insights, mixed with a little sass, wit, humor, forwardness, and spirituality, as only a gay man can do. He speaks candidly to women on healing their souls of past hurts in order to tap into their fabulousness.

Also included are meaningful and powerful inspirational stories from women who were seeking to live fabulous and fierce lives filled with abundant love and joy, as well as have intimate relationships with men. These women learned to reclaim, rediscover, and heal themselves.

Dean also dedicates a chapter to the most controversial topic in the black community--down low gay men. I am often asked by women, "How can I tell if my man is on the down low?" Or, "What are some signs I need to look out for so I do not end up in a relationship with a down low man?" This chapter will help women identify if the man they are in a relationship with or considering dating may be on the down low.

Dean gives gives straight answers on when to leave a relationship, how to make it last, how to open up, how to get into the dating game, when to stop being a doormat, and how often times the woman may just not be into the man. When many women experience a tumultuous break-up or suffer through a challenging relationship, they turn to their gay best friends. Sure, they seek advice from their girlfriends, but it's always the gay best friend who's unique perspective helps them through the rough spots, encouraging her, inspiring her, and giving her the straight truth about relationships, and herself.

His book will help women discover the power they need for a life of abundant success, prosperity, and happiness with loving relationships. It dispense practical advice and tips on creating healthy and loving relationships with themselves and any man they desire. And, it’s all done from a place of love, from their gay best friend.

You can pre-order the book at amazon.com, HERE:

Today Is, "He Can Get It" Wednesday: Blue...

What a great way to start your holiday weekend than with a mid-week “He Can Get It” treat.

This week’s featured model is 25-year old, Blue Kimble. Born and raised in Atlanta, Blue has lived all over the country from Miami, Charlotte to New York. He currently resides back home in Atlanta.

Blue is a former professional arena football player. When he played football people would always ask or tell him that he should model. When he retired from football he decided to give it a shot, using the contacts and people he’d met. Thank goodness he listened.

Blue is also an actor. He has a couple of business ventures that he’s involved in. Blue also volunteers with some local youth organizations.
I asked Blue what he looks for in a woman and he said, “I like all types of women. Not just one specific characteristic. I like a confident woman, and I feel that is where her sexiness comes from. I want her to be genuine, because I don’t have time for games.”

In his down time, Blue says he likes to work out. “I love sports, watching movies, and going out. But I really like to spend time with my girlfriend…although I’m single now.”

Blue is currently starring in some upcoming independent & feature films. He is also closing an endorsement deal for a fitness line.

You can read and see more of Blue, HERE:
