Cover Girls...

Just click on the image above to enlarge.

Excerpt from my book, Hiding In Hip Hop, page 203:

"Record labels plot and plan the convenient dinners, supposed dates, and club appearances with the right woman on a celebrity's arm. Especially if an artist is single and there are speculative rumors about his sexuality. Having him linked to a beautiful woman helps his image as a playboy. It isn't a coincidence when photographers just happen to be at a certain restaurant, club, or store when a celebrity and their date show up.

Publicists and marketing and product managers go to great lengths to mastermind their artist's photos being plastered in gossip magazines. They send e-mails to other publicists searching for other relatively well-known celebrities who are single and can be used as an escort for a red carpet appearance. They find dates to soirees, events, and parties. The publicists call media outlets to notify them that their artist is attending an event with so-and-so. Once the publicist has photos of them with their beautiful dates, the pictures get sent to magazines and newspapers. When the fans see their favorite artist with a gorgeous woman at an event, all speculations about their sexuality are thrown out the windown."

Clay Aiken - "Yes, I'm Gay"....

American Idol favorite Clay Aiken has finally come out as a gay man.

“Yes, I’m gay,” he tells People. “I cannot raise a child to lie or to hide things.”

The 29-year-old Idol alum is on the mag’s cover with newborn son Parker.

In May, it was announced that Clay had given his sperm by artificial insemination to pal Jaymes Foster, sister of David Foster and Clay’s producer.

In July 2006, boybander Lance Bass also appeared on the cover of People with his own “I’M GAY” issue.

Now, if only a black entertainer will come forward. It's okay, really, it's okay.

Video Appearance on The Morning Show with Mike & Juliet...

Part 1

Part 2

I wish there could have been more time for the discussion. But, that's television. You only get a certain amount of time and when you have a full panel, as we did, it does not lend itself to have a full discussion.

It is clear that we need more discussions, workshops, outlets, groups, and intervention for talks about sex and sexuality in our community. We also need to become more proactive!

I am happy with it and all the women were very nice, but as the saying goes, "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned."

Ladies, Ask Your Man Who Has Been In and Out of Prison...

This clip comes from MSNBC Lockup: Raw. It generally comes on nightly. You have to check your local listings to find out what time it comes on in your area. I have watched the series many times and this episode caught my attention: Sex in Prison. Thanks to the folks over at Crunk and Disorderly I was able to find it on YouTube.

No matter what you think of prison, it is not a joke. It is a hard place and full of men who will do whatever it takes to stay alive. I know, I was there. If you have my book you will notice I open with my being released from prison.

Many people ask, "What happens in prison? Do men really have sex with one another?" The answer is, yes, men really do have sex with one another. I have seen and heard it happening. There is also a term for it, Gay for Stay. And, unfortunately, many men are raped while in prison.

On many interviews I have been asked, "What are some signs women should be aware of regarding men who have sex with other men?" I have always stated, "If your man is in and out of prison for extended periods of time, then a woman should be suspect."

Also, check out what the man says about the sagging pants phenomenon. In a recent interview with The Village Voice I was asked about the skinny jeans and sagging pants men wear with their ass cheeks hanging out. My response, "What are you really selling? And, what are you advertising?"

The Similarities...

Excerpt from my book, Hiding In Hip Hop:

"He was eager to please. He turned his back to us and bent over, allowing us full view of one of the most beautiful asses I had ever seen."

"Without missing a beat, "Flynn" graced us with a full-frontal view as he licked his pink lucisious lips, standing in all his glory with his thick, hard muscle standing at attention between his legs. He was even more beautiful naked."
